THE START
Following many years of experience in the sports footwear industry, Maurizio and Lorenzo Florian, together with Maria Antonia Florian, start their company: Mondeox. The first workshop is in their home town, Altivole, where they begin to manufacture – as contractors – trekking footwear, snowboard boots and après-ski boots.
2001
NEW HORIZONS
Mondeox becomes an international enterprise, launching production at Aiud in Romania. At the start of this new challenge various local workshops are used.
2006
S.P.A.
Mondeox becomes a joint-stock company, an S.p.A. The growth does not stop, thanks also to the strategic business strategy of Andreas Ploner, International Sales Manager at Mondeox, who focuses more and more on the private label and the most important players in the outdoor segment.
SECOND GENERATION
At Mondeox it’s already time for the second generation: Manuel Florian, the son of Maurizio begins to work in the Company.
1999
NEW MILESTONES
Mondeox opens its new headquarters at Asolo, a modern structure where the business can be grown.
2005

PRODUCTION CAPACITY
Mondeox Spa opens its first shoe upper factory at Rokosowo, in Ukraine. The production capacity continues to grow.
2013
AN IMPORTANT STEP FORWARDS
Mondeox Spa obtains the GoreTex® licence: an important step towards maximum quality levels.
2015
THE MOST ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
Mondeox Spa installs its first automated system for the direct injection of PU soles on the uppers. In 2018 the success of this type of footwear will lead to the acquisition of a second system.
STRONGER THAN EVER
Mondeox Spa opens a big new production facility at Aiud, in Romania. A 9,000m2 area equipped with the most modern technology systems.

THE SHOE FACTORY
Mondeox Spa rebranding: a new logo and a new payoff, THE SHOE FACTORY, announce the corporate mission: to become Europe’s premier manufacturer of outdoor footwear.

MORE CAPACITY FOR A BOLD VISION
Mondeox Spa opens a new production facility in Khust, Ukraine.
2022
50% MORE INJECTION
In 2022 a new system was installed for the direct injection of PU soles, increasing the production capacity for this type by 50%.

A BIG MILESTONE – MORE CAPACITY
Last year, at such a difficult time for the global economy, Mondeox Spa once again achieved a very positive result, with an increase in turnover of 30%.
2021
THE ANNIVERSARY
In the year of its 30th anniversary, Mondeox welcomed the important entry into the company of Eulero Capital Spa, to begin a significant new investment plan. Following this operation, Antonio Dus, one of the most authoritative figures in the outdoor sector, was elected to the Board of Directors.
